WASHINGTON –  Politico reports on Tuesday afternoon Senator Jeff Flake (R-Arizona) will not seek re-election in 2018. The publicaton says Flake was one of the most vulnerable Republican senators up for re-election next year.

Flake came under fire by American Indian tribes and leaders for slipping in the $585 billion National Defense Authorization Act of 2015 a measure that authorized the give Oak Flat, a sacred site, to a foreign company that owns a uranium mine with Iran.
