Dispute between homeowners, guests leads to stabbing

A man was stabbed during an argument with guests at his Miami Beach home, police said.

Officers were called to a stabbing at a home on Pine Tree Drive just before 3 p.m. Sunday, Miami Beach police Officer Ernesto Rodriguez said.

When officers arrived, they found one of the homeowners suffering from a stab wound.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the homeowners, who had guests staying at their home, got into an argument that led to the stabbing, Rodriguez said.

"Recently there have been many parties at this house," neighbor Lital Nayor told Local 10 News.

A man wearing an orange shirt could be seen sitting outside the home with a bandage on one of his hand.

Two people were taken into custody and were being questioned by police, Rodriguez said.

The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Another person suffered a superficial wound while trying to break up the fight, Rodriguez said.
