Deauville Beach Resort partially evacuated because of fire in electrical room

A Miami Beach hotel had to be evacuated early Tuesday morning because of a fire.

Miami Beach police said the Deauville Beach Resort on Collins Avenue was partially evacuated after there was a fire in the electrical room in the back of the hotel.

Electricity was lost, but no injuries were reported.

Local 10 News reporter Layron Livingston said some guests stayed inside the hotel.

The hotel will be closed for business for at least one day while firefighters inspect the hotel, so guests will have to be relocated.
