Flood advisory issued for portion of Miami-Dade County

A flood advisory was issued Tuesday afternoon for a portion of Miami-Dade County.

The National Weather Service in Miami issued the flood advisory for north central Miami-Dade until 6:30 p.m.

Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include Kendall, Doral, Sweetwater, Westchester and Fountainbleau.

Additional rainfall of one to two inches is expected over the area, forecasters said.

Drivers are urged to avoid flooded roads if possible.
