Six Killed in Vehicle Accident Pine Ridge Indian Reservation; Four Others Injured

PINE RIDGE INDIAN RESERVATION – Six people were killed in a vehicle accident near Red Shirt, a small community in the northwest corner of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota on Saturday night. Four others were injured.

Red Shirt is located 51 miles southeast of Rapid City, South Dakota, near the Badlands National Park. The Rapid City Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident and dispatched ambulances to the scene.

Names of the victims have not been released at press time. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
