CANNON BALL, NORTH DAKOTA – Law enforcement officials in Morton County, North Dakota are investigating the death of a man pulled from the Cannonball River on Sunday, April 9, 2017. The body was pulled from the river around 11:30 am – local time. Law enforcement remained on the scene for four hours.
The man’s body was found near the confluence of the Missouri and Cannonball Rivers, near the site of the Standing Rock encampments.
The Morton County Sheriff announced a release will be distributed on Monday.
