WASHINGTON – Politico is reporting this morning, President Donald Trump will approve the Dakota Access and the Keystone XL pipelines through an Executive Order he will sign today, Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
“It’s shameful that President Trump is disregarding the Army Corps of Engineers’ decision to conduct an environmental impact review of the Dakota Access Pipeline. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has the right to raise serious concerns about the potential impact of the pipeline on their water and their human rights,” commented Managing Director of Amnesty International USA’s Individuals at Risk Program, Zeke Johnson to initial reports early Tuesday.
