PHOENIX– Jane Sanders, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will attend the cultural reception at the National Indian Gaming Association annual Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention at Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix late Monday afternoon. The conference one of Indian Country’s largest conference will attract up to 4,000 attnedees this week.

The cultural recepti0n will take place in the North Building Meeting Rooms, Level 100 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

Mrs. Sanders visited Oak Flat, a sacred site yesterday to lend support to the citizens of the San Carlos Apache Tribe and its allies who are against the sacred site becoming a copper miine.

Senator Sanders will be in Phoenix tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15. The location and time of his event has not been announced yet, according to an American Indian associated with his campaign.
