The Bleeding Continues 1948, 1967, 2007, until when?
BBSNews 2007-05-14 -- (PCR) The Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in cooperation with the Palestinian Political Factions and the Local Organizations Committee in Bethlehem area are planning series of nonviolent activities to commemorate the 59th anniversary of Al-Nakba.

In April Palestinian prisoners families demonstrated close to the office of the Egyptian Embassy in Gaza, however, the demonstration ended by storming the car of the Egyptian ambassador as protest to release their sons who are in the Egyptian jails. In Gaza also, tens of thousands take the streets in Labor's day and carrying banners and posters saying:" We want to work and get paid, but we don't want begging". The demonstrations and other labor activities went from allover Gaza Strip and ended up by giving speeches from political and governmental leaders in the middle of Gaza City, close to the Palestinian Legislative Council.

A number of nonviolent actions will take place during the week to commemorate the Nakba and to continue to resist the annexation wall and other forms of the Israeli occupation in Bethlehem as part of the “Stop the Bleeding of Bethlehem” campaign.
These actions will be organized to demand the International Community to implement the United Nation Security Council resolutions regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and in particular, 194, 242 and 338 and the to implement the ruling of the International Court of Justice at The Hague to dismantle the Illegal wall Israel is building on the occupied West Bank.
The actions will be held according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, May 15, 2007 marks the 59th anniversary for the Palestinian Nakba of 1948, when more than 700 thousand Palestinians were displaced from their homes and around 420 villages were destroyed by Jewish militias of the Irgun, Stern and the Hagana.
