5.8 Earthquake Occurs in the Guam Region

USGS via BBSNews 2006-01-03 -- A moderate earthquake occurred at 12:27:58 (UTC) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. The magnitude 5.8 event has been located in the GUAM REGION. The hypocentral depth was estimated to be 81 km (50 miles). (This event has been reviewed by a seismologist.)
