Conditions in the hurricane-impacted areas in Louisiana are very dangerous. Please bear with the emergency personnel and rescue teams; assessments will not begin until conditions are safe on the ground.

The National Next Of Kin Registry (NOKR) is a new high-speed solution to locating your Next Of Kin in urgent situations. NOKR is designed as an emergency contact system to help if you or your family member is missing, injured or deceased. NOKR is a free service to the public as well as the Local and State agencies using the search service.

This form will help authorities to locate families for victims of current or recent disasters. This form can be used for all types of disasters in which multiple victims may be involved. By registering a potential victim you can help emergency personnel to locate families for those affected by the tragedy.

Report missing persons from Hurricane Katrina by filling out the form at the Disaster Victim Registry: https://host182.ipowerweb.com/~pleaseno/disaster/reg.htm
