Native American Boarding School’s First National Conference Planned for October in Carlisle, PA

CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA – This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the closing of the first federal Indian Boarding school, Carlisle Indian Industrial School. To mark this landmark, the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition is hosting its first national conference, which will provide a forum for a discussion on boarding school truth, justice and healing in the fall.
