FORT HALL, IDAHO – On January 15, 2018, Fort Hall Business Council hired Pamela Gallegos as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Shoshone-Bannock Gaming Operations and the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center.
The Fort Hall Business Council chose Ms. Gallegos for the position after an extensive search and interview process.
“The Council is pleased to welcome Pamela and her family to the Fort Hall community as our new CEO,” said Chairman Nathan Small. “Her extensive experience and expertise operating tribal gaming operations will help keep our operation successful.”
Pamela Gallegos has an extensive career history in leadership positions with tribal entities and healthcare systems, working in Finance from Director of Administration to Chief Financial Officer. Pamela has consistently been selected to lead key financial management, strategic planning, and operations divisions, identifying and implementing cost savings and lean processes while not sacrificing services and multi-growth initiatives.
Instrumental in opening 3 casinos from the ground up, and ancillary outlets, amenities and mixed use facilities, Pam’s can-do energy and positive perspective have been relied upon to transform financial operations and to motivate teams into implementing resilient, workable solutions to acquire measurable achievements across all business units.
“Pamela’s experience with opening new casinos is invaluable as the property looks to open a brand new gaming floor this year,” further said by Chairman Small.
Ms. Gallegos, Pam, earned her BSBA, MBA and MHA and attended the Project Management Institute, an intensive leadership training program. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Pam is a mother of two boys Sampson 20, Robert 12, a 16-year-old girl Alexis, and has a significant other, Damian, who is a father to 17-year-old girl, Karina. They are a close knit family who are all very excited about Pam’s new opportunity with Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.
