WASHINGTON – Facing pressure to resign his Senate seat because of accusations of sexual harrasment, Senator Al Franken (D – Minnesota), a member of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, said Wednesday he will make an announcement on Thursday about his future plans.
Senator Franken did not attend today’s Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. He reportedly is in Washington with his family. He will make his announcement in Washington, not Minnesota.
