Shoplifter flees North Lauderdale store with pants stuffed with loot

Broward County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who they say walked out of a North Lauderdale 7-Eleven with his arms and pants full of stolen goods.

Surveillance video from the afternoon of Nov. 17 captured the man going through the store and stuffing various items into his pants, including wireless speakers and cleaning supplies. At one point, the video shows the man drinking a beverage that he grabbed from the store's refrigerator.

The video ends as he leaves the store at 8100 W. McNab Road with his arms full of stolen items and a 7-11 employee trailing behind him.

Deputies described the shoplifter as a black man in his 30s. He weights about 180 pounds and is about 5 foot 9 inches tall, deputies said.

Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call Detective Justin Panza at 954-720-2250 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
