Man using fraudulent credit card racks up $901 at North Lauderdale Publix

A man used a fraudulent credit card to rack up $901 in groceries at a Publix store in North Lauderdale, authorities said.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said surveillance cameras captured the man Sept. 12 at the Publix at 8140 W. McNab Road.

Authorities said the credit card was cloned, so the victim's actual credit card had never left his or her possession.

Anyone with information about the thief's identity is asked to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
