A 16-year-old was struck by a car Tuesday morning in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 159th Street and North Miami Avenue.
Miami-Dade police said the teenager was crossing the street when a car struck the teen.
Sky 10 was above the scene as the car was pressed up against a fence in a residential area.
Police said the driver remained at the scene.
The teen was taken to a hospital. His or her condition has not been released.
It's unclear whether the driver will be cited.
