100 gallons of diesel fuel spill onto Florida’s Turnpike; highway closed at SW 152 Street

The northbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike were closed Sunday afternoon due to a diesel fuel spill, the Florida Highway Patrol said. 

Crews worked to clean up the nearly 100 gallons of fuel that spilled onto the highway at about 12:26 p.m.

Traffic was diverted to the Don Shula Expressway as crews cleaned up the mess.
