Pembroke Pines police ask person who lost case of pot to give them a call

You can't say they didn't ask nicely.

Pembroke Pines police tweeted out an extremely polite request Thursday afternoon, asking whoever left a case full of marijuana at a local resort to kindly give them a call.

"Did you lose a briefcase in the Arium Resort? Was it filled with 10.75 lbs of marijuana? We'd LOVE for you to call us at 954-431-2200."

Hotel maintenance found the briefcase in the parking lot of the resort on Pembroke Road. After resort personnel opened the case and discovered the pot, they called police.

As was posted in the tweet, almost 11 lbs. of marijuana was packed inside.

The police claim the weed was well-packaged in a very nice pelican case, but as of yet, no one has called to claim the drugs.
