Knife-wielding, masked man robs bank in Doral, FBI says

A knife-wielding man who had his face covered by a cloth or shirt robbed a bank Monday afternoon in Doral, the FBI said.

The robbery was reported about noon at an Eastern National Bank branch at 7800 NW 25th St.

FBI Special Agent Michael Leverock said the robber pulled out a knife and demanded money from an employee.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

No injuries were reported.

  • Aug. 25, Chase Bank, Miami
  • Aug. 29, PNC Bank, Miramar
  • Sept. 7, Banco Community Bank, Hialeah
