A construction crane collapsed and fell onto a nearby building as Hurricane Irma blasted South Florida with hurricane-force winds.
The collapse occurred Saturday morning at Northeast 3rd Street, between Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami.
No injuries have been reported.
City officials warned residents living in downtown near construction sites about the possibility of crane's collapsing.
The cranes were thought to be able to withstand the direct hit of a Category 4 hurricane, however, Irma's winds in Miami are just at the Category 1 level.
About 25 cranes remained up before the storm approached South Florida.
