Man armed with knife robs Miramar bank

A man wearing a fedora and sunglasses robbed a Miramar bank Tuesday afternoon, according to the FBI.

The robbery was reported about 3:45 p.m. at a PNC Bank branch on Miramar Parkway.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the robber entered the bank, displayed a knife and demanded money from an employee.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Marshall didn't say how much money was taken.

Anyone with information about the bank robbery is asked to call the FBI office in South Florida at 754-703-2000.
