A woman was robbed of her jewelry Tuesday in a parking lot at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, authorities said.

According to a crime advisory sent to students and employees by campus police, the victim, who is in her mid-40s, was walking to her car shortly after 8 p.m. behind the Watsco Center on Dauer Drive when she was approached by a man who was wearing a gray hoodie.

Police said a struggle ensued and the man stole jewelry from the victim.
