Driver at large after killing father-to-be in hit-and-run crash

At four months pregnant, Elizabeth Contreras is desperate for answers in regard to a hit-and-run crash that killed the father of her unborn child.

Dioni Feliz Lora was riding his motorcycle on his way home July 15, along Northwest 28th Street and Northwest 31st Avenue  when he was struck by a gold F-150 pickup, possibly a 1999 to 2003 model.

Lora hit the pavement and the driver kept going.

With tears coming down her face Contreras  begged witnesses to come forward.

"He was not a dog, he was not no animal -- he was a person," Contreras said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
