Sisters who ran away from home in Homestead return safely

Two sisters who vanished from their home in Homestead about three days ago were reunited with their family on Saturday, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Authorities alerted the public after Esmeralda, 11, and Ruby Martinez, 15, ran away from home on Wednesday. 

When detectives released their descriptions, they reported the 11-year-old girl had black hair with blond tips and the 15-year-old girl had a tattoo on her left wrist.
