Miami detectives investigate shooting killing Kevin Prince

Kevin Prince died after he was shot early Saturday morning in Miami's Overtown, according to the City of Miami Police Department.

Police said Prince, 55, and two others were shot at the 1200 block of Northwest First Place. Danny Houshya, who was working inside the Arena Supermarket convenience store, called 911 when he saw the victims.

"I was behind my counter working and I see a girl, a white short girl," Houshya said. "She comes like that 'Oh, I got hit! I got hit! And she is bleeding. I look outside. I got another person on the ground, shot I think in the back."

Prince, 55, died shortly after midnight. Miami police officers identified the two wounded as Cassandra Chattier, 28, and Alexander Speer, 35.

Miami Fire Rescue took Chattier and Speer to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the shooting to call 305-471-8477.
