SANTA FE – The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) is sponsoring a very special night of free music at the Santa Fe Bandstand on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:00 pm, featuring popular Santa Fe musician Levi Platero. Opening the show will be a selection of Native American Drum groups.
Levi Platero is a great example of a guitar player with the intuitive gift of a much more experienced player. His quiet nature is unleashed in a style that mixes Texas Blues to vintage rock, while paying tribute to his modern guitar heroes such as Eric Johnson and Steve Vai. His live shows captivate with flurries of guitar acrobatics and soulful expressiveness. Levi is a player to be reckoned with.
