Fort Lauderdale bank robber gets away with money in Bath & Body Works bag

The FBI is trying to identify a man who robbed a bank Tuesday morning in Fort Lauderdale.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the man entered the SunTrust branch at 6260 Powerline Road shortly after 11:30 a.m. and told a bank employee to put all the money into a Bath & Body Works bag.

No injuries were reported.

Marshall didn't say how much money was taken.

Surveillance photographs showed the man wearing a green camouflage gardening cap, black gloves and a black bandanna covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI office in South Florida at 754-703-2000.
