Two people were pulled from a body of water in Miami Gardens on Tuesday after they fell off the personal watercraft, Miami Gardens officials said.
This crash took place in the 2000 block of State Road 7.
"I feel bad and heartbroken," Junior Spice, a witness, said.
Witnesses said two people were on the personal watercraft in the Snake Creek Canal when the incident took place.
One of the victims was able to reach the bank while the other was pulled from the water and then taken to an area hospital.
"They actually had somebody on the stretcher and took them up where the ambulances were," Andrew Grant said.
Spice and other residents said that they often see people on personal watercrafts in the canal.
"I always be seeing them speeding out here and it be looking nice, but an accident comes like this. This is when the problems come," Spice said.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission has taken over the investigation.
