Gunshots fired in Miami Beach, no injures reported

Gunshots were fired into the air at about 6 a.m. Monday morning in the Sunset Harbour neighborhood of Miami Beach, police said.

A security guard in the 1800 block of Purdy Avenue told Miami Beach police that after a brief argument, a man fired a gun into the air from a moving car.

The other group involved in the argument also fled the scene, the security guard told police.

There were no reported injuries or property damage.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
