Second Latin Cafeteria Restaurant shooting victim dies

A second woman died Sunday morning of wounds she received in a shooting at the Latin Cafeteria Restaurant that also claimed the life of her sister, Miami-Dade police said. 

Yenant Guardado, 38, was pronounced dead Sunday after she being wounded during the shooting at the  Blue Gables Plaza, 7360 Coral Way, in the Coral Terrace neighborhood between West Gables and Westchester.

Her sister, Madlin Guardado, 39, was also killed during the shooting. 

The Guarado sisters were working in the restaurant when the  alleged gunman, Jose Reina, 84, came in and began shooting, police said. 

He then fled in a Jeep Cherokee and shot himself shortly after. Reina was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
