FBI searches for man accused of robbing bank

A man wearing a white T-shirt over a gray hooded sweatshirt robbed a Bank of America branch Saturday, according to authorities.

Surveillance video shows a man demanding money from a bank employee at the teller window of the branch at 18400 NW 67 Ave. in unincorporated west Miami-Dade.

"There were customers in the bank at the time of the robbery," FBI Special Agent Michael D. Leverock said in a statement. "There were no injuries."

According to FBI spokesman Jim Marshall the bank robber walked away from the bank.

Marshall and Leverock are asking anyone with information about the bank robber to call 754-703-2000 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
