A Pembroke Pines man is accused of stabbing his adult stepson multiple times in the neck, chest, stomach, and back.
John Negron, 68, is charged with attempted murder.
Officers said they received a call at about 8:15 p.m. Thursday from a man, stating that his stepson had attacked him.
After further investigation, police said they learned that Negron stabbed his stepson during a dispute inside a home on Southwest 72nd Avenue near 6th Street.
The victim ran across the street to the Pembroke Pines Fire station for help. Police said he was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital and taken into surgery.
Negron was arrested at his home and transported to Broward County Jail.
