FBI seeks man who robbed BB&T Bank branch in Fort Lauderdale

The FBI is searching for a man who they said robbed a BB&T Bank branch Thursday in Fort Lauderdale.

The robbery was reported just before 4:45 p.m. at the BB&T at 900 SE 17th St.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the robber approached a teller and demanded money.

Marshall declined to say whether any money was taken.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the robber's identity is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000, or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
