Suspect in Miami Gardens shooting arrested in stolen truck at I-10 rest stop

A man accused of fatally shooting his ex-wife's mother and wounding his former brother-in-law in Miami Gardens has been arrested in north Florida.

Emmanuel Saint Fleur was wanted by Miami Gardens police in connection with Tuesday's shooting at a home near Northwest 17th Place and Northwest 157th Street.

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement announced the arrest Thursday.

Florida agricultural officers said they arrested Saint Fleur at a rest stop off Interstate 10 in Madison County.

Authorities said they found Saint Fleur on Wednesday after the stolen truck he was driving passed through an agricultural inspection station on I-10 in Live Oak without stopping.

While being questioned about the stolen truck, Saint Fleur confessed to shooting two people in South Florida, authorities said.

The truck was stolen from Saint Fleur's former employer in the Fort Lauderdale area. Authorities said they also found a stolen gun in the truck.

Saint Fleur was being held without bond at the Madison County jail. He faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder and attempted murder.
