EAGLE BUTTE, SOUTH DAKOTA – The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe welcomed the Longest walk 5.2 to a prayer ceremony at the powwow grounds and meal at the Old Agency building on Friday, April 14, 2017.

On Saturday, April 15 at 12 noon at the south side of Main Street by the Cheyenne Eagle Butte School, the walkers will start in prayer and walk to spread the message of the problems associated with drug and alcohol abuse and the problems of domestic violence in Native communities throughout Indian Country.

Please join the walkers and walk in prayer down Main St. in Eagle Butte. All people are welcome!
