Police officers evacuate AmericanAirlines Arena during Disney on Ice show

Cesar Perez said AmericanAirlines Arena employees asked him to exit the building. He was there for the Disney on Ice show on Saturday afternoon.

The father shared a video on Instagram showing City of Miami police officers were outside with children and adults who were waiting behind the Freedom Tower.

A Miami Heat employee said the evacuation of the arena happened after a bomb threat.

"Our bomb squad and K-9 Unit are on scene," a Miami Police Department spokesperson tweeted.

Police officers were asking drivers to avoid Biscayne Boulevard.

Little girls wearing their Disney princess outfits weren't allowed inside. Perez couldn't get his car. Disney on Ice employees who had finished the 3 p.m. show and were in the middle of preparations for the 7 p.m. show were also asked to leave the building.

Disney on Ice was also presenting it's Worlds of Enchantment show at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
