At least 4 people were pulled from the Intracoastal Waterway Wednesday night in Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said.
The incident took place near the 15th Street Fisheries.
One of the people was unconscious when firefighters responded to the incident, and the others were alert and in good condition.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the boat began sinking about a mile off of Port Everglades. They said a good samaritan was the first to respond and picked up two people. Fort Lauderdale patrols and a sailboat then each picked up one person each, the Coast Guard said.
Everyone rescued was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, but no injuries were reported.
