WASHINGTON – The muchj anticipated vote on the Republican healthcare plan (referred to as Trumpcare) to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act has been pulled. According to sources, House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the bill at the urging of Donald Trump, who has been bragging all week the bill would be passed by the House.
In the end, the Republicans seem to be in complete disarray in their governance at both sides of Pennsylvania Avenue – from the White House to Capitol Hill.
The bill was to be voted on last night, but the vote was delayed to today. It was reported the White House ordered Speaker Ryan to hold the vote today. It was called about 3:30 p.m. – EST.
