CLOQUET, MINNESOTA – Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College will be hosting a panel presentation and discussion on human trafficking awareness from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, in the campus commons and amphitheater. The free event is sponsored by several student organizations on campus and is open to the public.
Members of local advocacy organizations and local law enforcement jurisdictions will participate on the panel of speakers. Patti Larsen from Mending the Sacred Hoop, Sarah Curtiss of Men as Peacemakers, Lieutenant Mike Diver of the Fond du Lac Band Police Department, and Detective Derek Randall of the Cloquet Police Department will share their expertise and experience working with human trafficking cases.
