On Friday, Kaepernick announced he gave the biggest portion of December’s installment $50,000 to the Mni Wiconi Health Clinic Partnership at Standing Rock.
According to the quarterback’s website Kaepernick7.com, 50 percent of the donated funds will pay the salaries of the doctors and nurses. The rest of the funds are broken down as follows: 25 percent to offset building materials for mobile medical clinic; 15 percent for medical supplies; and 10 percent for liability insurance.
