CANNON BALL, NORTH DAKOTA – With a major snow blizzard blocking highways across North Dakota, hundreds of veterans and others leaving the #NODAPL encampments are stranded and unable to return home.
Four thousand veterans came to show solidarity to the water protectors over this past weekend with a series of events that took place over a three-day period. Snow hit Standing Rock yesterday and has made roads icy and impassable.
Hundreds of veterans are taking refuge in the Pavilion at the Prairie Knight Casino on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
