Keynote speech to emphasize oral health care

WASHINGTON – Miss Native American USA, Kristina Hyatt will attend the Third Annual Cherokee Days Festival in Washington D.C. as a keynote speaker next week, Friday June 10th through Sunday the 12th.

MNAUSA Hyatt, a dental hygienist will be speaking about the importance of oral health care throughout Indian Country at the National Museum of American Indian on the National Mall. MNAUSA will present all 3 days of the event starting at 2 pm (local time) each day in the Rasmuson Theater-Level 1 located at Fourth Street & Independence Ave., S.W Washington, DC 20560.

The three-day Cherokee Days festivities will celebrate food, artists, dancers, musicians, demonstrations, films, and hands-on activities.
The three federally recognized Cherokee Tribes, the Cherokee Nation, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, and United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indian will come together to celebrate their common heritage. — The National Museum of the American Indian on the National Mall offers exhibition galleries and spaces for performances, lectures and symposia, research, and education since the passage of its enabling legislation in 1989 (amended in 1996).
