SHIPROCK, NEW MEXICO – Ashlynn Mike, a 11-year-old Navajo girl, who was abducted on the Navajo Indian Reservation, near Shiprock, New Mexico, was found dead on Tuesday.
Ashlynn was abducted about 4 p.m. on Monday. Her death was confirmed Tuesday by the Navajo Nation and the FBI. A prayer vigil will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the San Juan Chapter House in Fruitland.
The killer is still at-large.
According to authorities, police are looking for a maroon mini-van with sliding doors; no hubcaps and a luggage rack on top of the vehicle.
