AT&T will now sponsor and post jobs in the innovative online business platform

LAS VEGAS—A longtime supporter of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (the National Center), AT&T will now sponsor the Native Edge – the National Center’s online business platform designed to give Indian Country the Edge in business.
As part of the partnership with NCAIED’s Native Edge, AT&T will also begin to post relevant job openings inside the Native Edge. The sponsorship was announced Wednesday during the American Indian Diversity Luncheon at the National Reservation Economic Summit (National RES) in Las Vegas.
“AT&T has been a tremendous partner with the National Center for quite some time, and the company’s commitment to diversity recruiting and hiring is unsurpassed,” said Gary Davis, President and CEO of the National Center. “AT&T’s support will reinforce the Native Edge’s position as the online resource for Indian Country to do business. We thank AT&T for its sponsorship and look forward to working with the company in the years ahead.”
This year, RES attendees will get free one-month access to the Native Edge in order to supplement their experience at Indian Country’s largest business event, which concludes today at the Mirage Hotel and Casino.
The Native Edge, which can be accessed at www.nativeedge.com, features four primary components:
The Hire Edge, which helps Native American business owners find employees, and job seekers to find potential employers. It also helps Corporate Diversity Recruiters to meet and exceed their diversity goals by matching them with Native American workforce.
The Native to Native (N2N) Edge Community allows businesses, entrepreneurs, students, and job-seekers to network with each other and initiate new relationships.
The Training Edge, which provides business owners and their employees with interactive tools and training sessions to help in their professional development.
The Procurement Edge, which is a database for both federal and corporate procurement opportunities, which also allows for Native-owned businesses to partner and team with each other.
