ST. LOUIS— Bronson Koenig, No. 24, found his groove to in a second-round nail biter to score the winning three-point shot with one second left as his Wisconsin Badgers beat the Xavier Musketeers and advance to the Sweet Sixteen in the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament.

For the night, the junior, who is a tribal citizen of the Ho Chunk Nation, scored 20 points, had seven rebounds and went 6 of 12 from three-point range.4

Koenig hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final 14 seconds, including the fallaway game winner in the corner just before the buzzer, as the No. 7 seed Wisconsin beat the No. 2 seed Xavier 66-63.

The win sends Koenig and his Badgers to their third straight Sweet Sixteen. Wisconsin will play Norte Dame in Philadelphia on Friday night in the Sweet 16.
