Bernie Sanders to Campaign on Navajo Nation on Friday

FLAGSTAFF – Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will campaign at the Twin Arrow Casino, which is part of the Navajo Nation, outside of Flagstaff on Friday, March 18, 2016. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The Sanders campagin said the format will be a town hall style event. The event is free and entry will be on a first-come basis.

Senator Sanders has actively sought American Indian support in his quest to become the Democratic party nominee in the general election that will be held in November 2016.

Sanders faces challenger Hillary Clinton in the Arizona primary next Tuesday.
