VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON — The Native Arts and Cultures Foundation is calling for entries for the annual NACF National Artist Fellowship. The Fellowship awards $20,000 to practicing individual Native artists in any of the following categories: Traditional Arts, Music, Visual Arts, Literature and Artistic Innovation.

The NACF National Artist Fellowship is dedicated to supporting American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian artists, and to date has awarded more than 50 Native artists in the U.S. To learn more about and view artwork of previous Fellows awarded, please go to www.nativeartsandcultures.org and click on the Programs/Fellowship Program tab.

National Artist Fellowship:

Eligible applicants are Native artists who are enrolled as a citizen among any of the federally or state recognized Native Nations, Alaska Native Corporations or with documentation of Native Hawaiian ancestry and residing in the U.S.  Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. PT, Monday, March 21.
