BURNS, OREGON— Ammon Bundy, the leader of a bunch of domestic terrorists who took over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon, was arrested on Tuesday during a traffic stop, according to CNN.

A unidentified source told CNN that shots were fired after authorities made the traffic stop. It’s not clear who fired the first shot.

One of the terrorists, also known as militants, was killed. The location of the shooting that led to the death has not yet been disclosed.

The so-called militia group took over the federal wildlife refuge on January 2, 2016.

“The land on which the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge is located is in the heart of our tribe’s ancestral territory,” wrote Charlotte Roderique, chair of the Burns Paiute Tribe in the letter to Attorney General Lynch. “This is sacred place to the Burns Paiute Tribe. The refuge and the refuge buildings hold invaluable, irreplaceable and endangered aspects of the tribe’s cultural heritage.”
