Presidents Day levity at the Albuquerque Police Department

Glasses of cold brews.

Glasses of cold brews.

BBSNews 2015-02-16 — By Michael Hess. In what is likely an inadvertent bit of humor today the Albuquerque Police Department took the President’s Day holiday in stride.

In a department seemingly besieged by bad news, a moment of brightness occurred in what was probably an accidental keyboard fumble (look at your qwerty keyboard). It was a slip of the finger that prompts a chuckle instead of being returned.

The police department said:

“In observance of today’s holiday, our support offices are closed. The on call PIO is available for breaking brews only.”

Now that can help put a smile on officer’s faces.
